Today was the first spring-like day of the season. We were more than happy to welcome a day of about 60 degrees and sunny. The last of the snow melted!
I found a tiny sign of spring–
And some fuzzy seeds getting ready to release from the pod on the tree so they can fall to the ground and grow…
Rintoo enjoyed the fresh air too.
This evening while Tyler was at work we went over to my in-laws’ house.
My BIL’s two year old daughter Lauren was over and I’d been wanting to meet her forever. I wasn’t sure we’d ever get to meet her, long story.
She’s super cute and I’m thrilled to the core that we are going to get to know her!
She’s very quiet and shy compared to Ada, who is always so animated and busy.
(Rosie’s glasses drive me crazy constantly sliding down like that. This new pair needs to be tightened over and over.)
See, Ada is just blur of motion in the dim lighting of my in-laws’ living room.
Lauren and MIL–
Lauren turned two on February 1st, so Ada is just a few months shy of being a year older.
Lauren loved Rosie. I think Ada scared her a little. I can’t wait to see them grow up together!
Lauren is the only first cousin the girls have, and the only cousin they have their age. I loved growing up with my cousins.
I’m so glad they’ll have at least one cousin to be close to.
