My hormones are throwing me through a loop lately.
I’ve got more pimples than I had in middle school, nipples throbbing on and off, waves of PMS-like nausea and cramping, and a few episodes of brown spotting. Maybe Aunt Flow will be back soon? This is so annoying, I wish I could just have my period and get it over with instead of the constant flux of hormones making me feel like crap in sudden bursts.
Ada is still nursing lots and lots, so I’m sure that’s interfering. She nurses almost all night long! Well, at least when she’s sleeping…which is not all night long.
You know, last night Ada woke up at 1 in the morning wide awake, just as I was going to bed. She wouldn’t go back to sleep until almost 4:30. Then she got up at 7.
My poor throbbing eyeballs!
Not much is going on at our house lately. We’ve just been hanging out, trying to clean up and get ready for our new flooring to be installed. They have to move everything out of the kitchen, dining area, laundry room, and bathroom. A good opportunity to continue my decluttering. It’s depressing though–I keep cleaning, every waking moment, only to turn around and find that Tyler and Rosie have left a swath of dishes, dirty clothes, toys, trash, and who knows what else. Then I just have to start cleaning all over again. Rinse and repeat.
I guess that’s just life.
I have a few videos that you must see.
First, Rosie is completely determined to learn how to read. She begs me constantly to help her read. It’s all starting to come together for her suddenly!
Second, Rosie again. She wanted me to record her playing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.
Third, Tyler doing one of my favorite songs by Denison Witmer.
