Ada has slept this entire day! I don’t know what to think. Maybe she’s fighting off the cold I have?
She wakes up for 15 minutes to pee on the potty, then she starts crying and immediately falls back asleep. She only wants to be in my arms in bed nursing, so I’ve spent the entire day holding her in bed.
Considering I feel like crap, I’m not going to complain. This cold seems to have settled in my sinuses. I hope the neti pot works some magic soon because I feel like a steam roller has driven over my face, then backed up, and parked on my cheeks.
Pardon me while I blow my nose for the millionth time.
I’m so worried about Ada. She has no symptoms other than being lethargic and sad and snuggling non-stop. She seems to be breathing faster than normal, but not struggling to breathe. I don’t know, weird. Maybe her nose is slightly stuffy and that’s why.
I guess time will tell what’s going on. Either it’s a crazy growth spurt or she’ll come down with this cold.
I hate being sick.
I hate it even more when my babies are sick!!
Enough about face mucus. Here are pictures from the last few days.
Rosie and my Grandma last week:
(Don’t even ask what in the world Ada is wearing, hah.)
Funny story: The face on the right is the face Rosie makes when absolutely desperately begging.
Last night Rosie had candy from two Valentine’s Day parties. She insisted that the Nerds candy was pronounced “turds” instead of Nerds.
So she was making that face on the right and begging and screaming to please, please, PUH-LEASE eat some turds.
Ada is just happy with oranges.
Ada tried the swing…
She was unsure at first, then she decided she hated it.
Yesterday before the homeschool co-op’s Valentine’s Day lunch…
Rosie decorated her mailbox to collect her Valentines. She spent hours decorating both sides and the bottom.
We’re supposed to have weather that’s sunny and in the 50’s this coming week.
I CAN’T WAIT!!
