I can’t remember if I wrote about this or not, but we’re here at this house for the long haul.
Not only can we never afford to move again, the stress of moving is awful, and we need to stay here until we pay off all of our debt. So we can move in maybe four years, if we wanted to.
Which means I’d better get used to living here, right?
The good news is I am quite in love with the inside of this house. The bathrooms need major renovations, like I said before, but everything else in here is great. The space is absolutely amazing! It’s comfortable, roomy, full of light.
I’m very stressed with unpacking. Henry cries every single time I set him down and walk away. He’s angry that he can’t crawl or walk. He flops over on his belly instantly, rocks on his hands and knees and SCREAMS, then it turns to sobbing pretty quick.
He’s also teething. One bottom tooth broke through last week. It bled! But the second tooth never broke through. It’s still hanging out under the surface causing misery. :( I’m sure he’ll be a lot more patient once that tooth pops through. I hope.
It’s frustrating not being able to find anything. I just want to wave a magic wand and be unpacked!
The potential though–this house! I have so many plans! We have a guest room/office, playroom, girls’ room, and our bedroom. Then there’s a homeschool room, living room, large eat in kitchen, random back room, foyer, and huge hallways, and a second foyer. There’s also the full huge basement which is halfway roughed in, and the completely floored attic that spans the entire space of the house.
Once I get it all unpacked it will be glorious. Cannot wait.
I also have a barn. Ironic, right? Move to the city, finally have a barn.
