October in Pictures.
Here are some pictures from the last few weeks of October that I never got around to posting…at least not that I can remember.
Rosie wrote this letter in Russian to Max. Every time we host each kid gets a welcome letter from their new family to read (or be read to them) on the plane. Rosie is super excited about Max, so she wrote him the welcome letter all by herself.
Ada bathed the baby guinea pigs one afternoon.
These oak doors and the oak trim have to go away. It’s a work in progress.
Rosie is under there.
Explanation for this is in our Trick or Treat video, which is at the bottom of the previous entry.
5 in the morning…
Part of my other painting projects included a chalkboard wall in our kitchen! These pictures were taken in front of it the night I painted it. I think that was last weekend…or maybe the weekend before last. I was just trying to take a picture of Henry’s new haircut and there were repeated photobombings, and it just got all out of control. ;)
If you’re wondering why Rosie isn’t in many of these pictures it’s because she’s always busy working on her own projects or reading a book off in her room. She’s no longer a baby or a preschooler who wants to be in my face 24/7. Bittersweet!
This one is growing up so fast too. I hardly recognize him sometimes. My baby!!
These witch fingers are spread all over our house now. They glow in the dark, so at night if you walk through the house there are about fifty glowing fingers in various random places.
Sunset in traffic on the main road near our house one evening…just a phone picture.
Dug the bread machine out. They were fascinated. I haven’t used it in a few years, so it was the first time these two remember seeing it.
Ok, that’s all. Except for this…one of Rosie’s projects! She’s been making stop motion videos with legos.
