We went to Epcot for one of our days at the Disney parks.
Traditionally Epcot has been my favorite of all the parks, but this was the first time I’ve ever tried to go with little kids. Let’s just say it was not nearly as fun to visit all the countries with little ones in tow…
And at one point Henry accidentally peed on his shirt in the bathroom, which meant I had to take his shirt off. As luck would have it that day I only packed him extra undies and shorts, not an extra shirt.
So I thought, oh we can just buy him a clean shirt!
We went in the baby station to wipe him off and change his pants and underwear. They had shirts for sale there! But…apparently the 4t shirts at Disney World are too small for my giant two year old. The shirt was too short. The next size up for kids is size small, which the baby care station didn’t have.
No problem, we can just grab a shirt in one of the 4,000 little shops on the way through the countries, right? He can be shirtless for a little while.
Well…at each country I scoured the stores. There were *no* shirts in his size anywhere in that half of Epcot.
Ergo my son took a shirtless tour around the world. He’s white trash, and he ain’t even ashamed of hisself.
The kids loved Turtle Talk with Crush and the aquarium area. That was the big highlight of the day for them. They also loved the ride inside of the big Epcot ball at the end of the night. Ada especially.
Here’s our Epcot vlog featuring Henry on his Shirtless Around the World Tour.
After Epcot we decided to arrange a surprise meet up with the kids’ cousin Lauren and her mom. They just so happened to plan their Disney vacation for the same week we did. It was a total coincidence!
This is such an exciting memory for the kids. So fun!
