The End of Summer. 1

The End of Summer.

Tropical Storm Lee has ushered in lots of rain, clouds, and shockingly cooler weather to our area over the past couple of days. It was 98 degrees and humid then down to 59 degrees and non-stop rain in a matter of hours!  The rain is forecasted to last through tomorrow, then we’ll get low 70’s and sunshine. I can’t wait, we have become addicted to being outside this spring and summer.  My high energy Ada must spend hours outside every day...

Allergies, Asthma, and Flowers. 3

Allergies, Asthma, and Flowers.

Rosie had an appointment today with the allergy doctor. She’s been complaining about her belly hurting for quite awhile, since early spring of this year.  Finally a couple of months ago we realized she was pointing to her chest area and just calling it her belly. Her lungs hurt, not her stomach. It’s been cool and rainy out for days now.  What happened to warm weather and sunshine? My children wake up, one after the other, over and over all night long leaving me with no sleep, night after night. My house is messy and I can’t seem to catch up.  Probably due to lack of sleep.  Definitely due to a cranky teething baby who screams bloody murder every time I set her down, but she wiggles and flails in my arms. Earlier Ada would...

Splash! 2/365 (Taken with the 60mm lens, f/2.8, ISO 800, exposure 1/30, using the Canon 40D.) Ada is so big now, she is able to play in the bathtub without slipping at all.  She absolutely loves it. Ada and Rosie have a blast playing in the tub together.  I love seeing them enjoy being together. I bought a new lens, but UPS has been holding it hostage.  It was scheduled to be delivered on December 30th, and I got all excited. Then on Thursday...
