Christmas Videos!

Here’s a video of the kids opening their Christmas presents. Igor was so excited when he discovered his Kindle Fire under the tree. So sweet! This is the same video, but not in fast forward. Igor Videos!

I have things to write about, but it’s already 2:15 in the morning. I need to hurry up and go to sleep. I was exhausted all day today. I have to get up at 5:30 in the morning because Baby E (daycare baby) gets here quite early. I am not a morning person. I get my second wind at night around 10:30 and I’m happy to stay up half the night soaking up the (mostly) alone time while the kids sleep....

Big Change of Plans…!

On Tuesday night of last week one of the coordinators from the host program called me. She was very upset. She said that Max’s director at the orphanage didn’t want him to come for hosting any longer. She was crying because she knew how excited we were and she was just heartbroken for our family. This has happened to us (and only us!) multiple times now–our host kid cannot come at the last minute. We had a Russian speaking friend call...
